I teach TRX suspension training and RIP training! What is that? So glad you asked! TRX stands for Total Body Resistance Exercise. It is a form of suspension training that uses body weight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility, and core stability simultaneously. It requires the use of the TRX Suspension Trainer which is a system of two heavy-duty adjustable canvas straps with handles that hangs from the ceiling or from a door, or from a tree outdoors. It takes advantage of gravity and the user's body weight to provide a safe, challenging, and effective workout. TRX is ideal and beneficial for all ages, sizes, and fitness levels--from couch-potato to elite athlete. TRX training can improve mobility and stability, increase metabolic results, build lean muscle, and develop functional strength. It's also a lot of fun!
RIP Training is a resistance exercise that increases strength and cardiorespiratory conditioning, and--just like the TRX suspension trainer--it can be used as a rehabilitation tool for people recovering from injury. The RIP trainer is a lever bar and resistance cord that is attached to a pole, tree, or a wall and challenges and develops the user's rotation, core stability, control, power, strength, mobility, metabolic conditioning, balance, and coordination. It, too, is fun and appropriate for all ages and fitness levels!
THINK OUTSIDE THE GYM!
Why pay for TRX classes in a gym when you can purchase your own TRX suspension and/or RIP trainer and train in the privacy of your own home or at a park whenever you want? With this option, you will avoid the possibility of being exposed to COVID in a gym, as well as the likely possibility of the gym closing due to high COVID cases.
